Music Journey — from fascination to craft

Story

Started at ~12–14, amazed by the ability of Skrillex and the idea that you could build entire worlds from a laptop. Dubstep and EDM showed a system: sound design, arrangement, mix, and master. Curiosity turned into repetition. Repetition turned into muscle memory.

The goal was to build music empire. Copyright and career plateau limited those dreams. Goal for now is entertainment. Fewer tools. Deeper control. Ship finished tracks when I can and learn in public.

Workflow

Session template

  1. Set BPM and key.
  2. Load drum rack: kick, snare, hats, perc, fills.
  3. Implement/freestyle melody
  4. Bass buss, drums buss, music buss, vox buss, master.

Sound design loop

  1. Sketch with simple wave + filter envelope.
  2. Add movement: LFOs, FM amount, macros.
  3. Resample phrases, slice, reverse, stretch.
